hi! i’m looking for some nonbinary/trans books. preferably middle grade, maybe younger YA. queer joy is a bonus!
You got it! There are all MG, with asterisks signifying books coming later in the year:

*Green by Alex Gino
*The Lonely Book by Meg Grehan
Skating on Mars by Caroline Huntoon
*Elle Campbell Saves Their Saturday by Ben Kahn

The Fabulous Zeb Watson! by Kevin Sylvester and Basil Sylvester
The Best Liars in Riverview by Lin Thompson
The House that Whispers by Lin Thompson (Amz)
*The Otherwoods by Justine Pucella Winans
There is also very significant nonbinary representation in Different Kinds of Fruit by Kyle Lukoff, Twelfth by Janet Key, and A Touch of Ruckus by Ash Van Otterloo.
In younger YA, there's not a ton, but I'd definitely give a shout to the genderqueer paranormal Out of Salem by Hal Schrieve, and I think the trans girl graphic novel romance Cheer Up! could work too!
(If you want all these links on one page, and/or to track ones coming up even further in the future, here's the MG page: https://lgbtqreads.com/middle-grade/)

Quote
The party was to consist of Lady Spencer, the Duncannons [Harriet and her husband] and their youngest child, Caroline, Georgiana, Bess and her daughter, Caroline St. Jules ... None of the party had any money. The Duncannons were massively in debt as usual and Georgiana had only the contents of her baggage. The private incomes of Bess and Lady Spencer were hardly enough to support themselves abroad, let alone seven people. Lady Melbourne gave them what money she could quickly gather without attracting notice, and George paid for Harriet's doctor to travel with them. He had little cash to spare, although he compensated for this by sending his agent, Townsend, to accompany the party and conduct all their business transactions for them. In many ways Townsend was better than a line of credit because he was practical and level-headed. However, it was impossible to imagine how they would survive if the Duke remained angry for any length of time.
Amanda Foreman, Georgiana Duchess of Devonshire p256
The Duke would remain angry for two years.

What dowry amount do you think each Bridgerton daughter would hypothetically have?
I am deeply unsure since a) we don't know exactly how rich the Bridgertons are (they're just Rich, as Julia takes care to point out time and time again) and b) there are 4 girls to provide dowries for (and Edwina! I think Anthony says he's gonna dower her) which maybe reduces the individual portions unless they're that Rich. If anyone has thoughts, lmk!
Here's what I know of comparable dowries:
Lord Byron received £20,000 to wed Annabella Milbanke, daughter of Sir Ralph Milbanke, cousin of PM Lord Melbourne and Lady Cowper/Palmerston, and contemporary accounts suggest she might have had one of the larger dowries out of all the eligible women around that time. But she was also an only child.
The Duke of Devonshire dowered £30,000 on his Georgiana plus use of one of their houses, and she married the future Earl of Carlisle.
Devonshire's other daughter Harriet was initially only given £10,000 before her wedding to Lord Granville Leveson-Gower (which was considered Less by all parties involved, esp. considering the Duke also gave £30,000 to his illegitimate daughter Caroline St. Jules who married George Lamb, Lord Melbourne's brother), but she ultimately got the full £30,000 from her brother once her dad died.
Fictionally speaking, Georgiana Darcy from Pride and Prejudice and Emma from Emma have dowries of £30,000, but they're both from the gentry (although again, rank is not indicative of wealth!). Georgiana is an only daughter, while Emma is one of two girls and a co-heiress to her father's estate.
